[glow=red,2,300]WOW!! [/glow]This IS like travelling back in time!! I grew up listening to the Mighty TMA and it's where I got my first job out of USC. John Burwell and Claire (the station's GM at the time) interviewed me and I had to write two spots on the spot! They liked them (or maybe they were just desperate for a copywriter) and I got a chance to be a part of that frenetic energy that made going to work so much fun! Creativity was a requirement!! John Burwell was the Master Mixer on the boards before studios had the multi-mega tracks that they have now. That's when radio had real personalities and entertainment and they were actually in the hometown studio.
